Privacy policy
This is a courtesy translation of our German privacy policy (Datenschutzerklärung); in case of doubt the German version prevails. Short version: no tracking, no advertising cookies – data is processed only where you actively send it to us.

Hosting & server logs
This website is hosted in Germany. When you visit it, the server processes technical access data (IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent) in log files to deliver the site securely and detect abuse – legal basis Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Logs are deleted on a short, rolling basis. The site sets no tracking or advertising cookies, which is why you see no cookie banner.
Contact & audit forms
If you use our forms (contact, appointment, service ticket, telecom audit), we process the details you enter to handle your request – legal basis Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures at your request). Transmission is TLS-encrypted; we do not use your data for newsletters and do not share it with third parties beyond what is needed to handle your request.
Online booking via HubSpot Meetings
Our appointment page embeds a booking calendar operated by HubSpot Meetings (HubSpot Ireland Ltd., Dublin), served via our subdomain crm.khtc-consulting.de. When you book, we process the details you provide (name, email, phone, topic) to arrange and hold the meeting – Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR. A data processing agreement is in place with HubSpot; transfers to the USA may occur and are safeguarded according to the provider via the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. Embedded YouTube video (two-click solution)
Our homepage embeds one video via YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.) in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). On page load only a locally hosted preview image is shown – a connection to Google is established only when you actively click play. From that point Google processes your IP address and usage data, potentially on servers in the USA – legal basis: your consent expressed by the click, Art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR. Email correspondence
If you email us, we process your address and message content to answer you (Art. 6 (1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Please do not send sensitive documents unencrypted – for contracts and invoices we provide a secure channel after first contact.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – for us: Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen. Retention
We store request data only as long as needed to handle the matter and any statutory retention periods require (e.g. commercial and tax law), then delete it.
